Platform

Everything you need, in one box.

A processor, the electronics that drive it and the software that programs it, delivered as one instrument and ready for experiments from day one.

The instrument

One box on your rack.

The processor, its temperature control and the Koi electronics in a 2U, 19-inch rack instrument, with 12 fibre inputs and 12 outputs on the front panel.

A fibre-coupled Noor-Q processor

Noor-Q processors

Any linear optical operation, programmed in software.

  • Universal meshes of tunable interferometers in silicon
  • Packaged, fibre-coupled and temperature-stabilised
  • About 1.2 mW for a π phase shift
  • Calibration and the Noor Twin available for every processor

Koi control electronics

Every phase shifter, driven and measured.

  • Precision drive for every phase shifter
  • Voltage and resistance read back on every channel
  • Scales from a single card to large meshes
  • Open firmware and an open command interface

MZIC Studio software controlling a 12-channel processor

MZIC Studio and Noor SDK

Program operations, not voltages.

  • Interactive control of the whole mesh
  • Automated calibration and compilation
  • A Python SDK with data logging, for your own code, FPGA or ML pipeline
  • The same software our published experiments run on

Noor Twin

It knows your chip. And keeps it working.

Every processor is slightly different. The Noor Twin is a model of your individual chip: it predicts the chip's response and turns the operation you want into the right settings. If parts of the chip fail over its lifetime, the processor stays programmable in software.
